Daily Reflections reading July 22nd

The Good And The Bad

“My Creator, I am now willing that you should have all of me, good and bad.” ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS, p. 76

The joy of life is in the giving. Being freed of my shortcomings, that I may more freely be of service, allows humility to grow in me. My shortcomings can be humbly placed in God’s loving care and be removed. The essence of Step Seven is humility, and what better way to seek humility than by giving all of myself–good and bad–to God, so that He may remove the bad and return to me the good.

My thoughts on July 22nd Reading

Sharing Experience Strengths and Hope, I can't think of a better way to given back what was so freely given to me thru the program, I am grateful for this and all of the 12 steps given to me in my recovery

I had to walk thru my fears and hopelessness to find a new way of live with out the fears, this required a look into my past ways, it was hard to walk thru all the hopelessness and despair, the fear was so great I knew I needed help to do this

Thank God for my sponsor's help today I am grateful that my past will always be with me, my old way life will always remind me how much I had to change and how important it is to freely give all this back

To those who are willing to start over again, learning the 12 steps they need to take for a new way of life to become loving useful members in recovery with a grateful positive attitude toward change

We all need to become a part of the fellowship, or we could all be separated from the program, so action is a must to given back what we have today, I do not have any more tunnel vision

The narrow mindlessness that could destroy everything I have been given in recovery

Focusing on any one little thing by itself, I lose the beauty of the whole picture so I always stay focused on my recovery or I will loose focus on everything else in life

I remain forever grateful for what God in His grace has given me and for the entire blessing He has given everyone in recovery, gratitude is an action words we hear around the halls,

Its to show people you are grateful not to tell them your grateful take the action get active in your program and God will keep given you the tools to reach out and help yourself

God sure has given me a life full of hope, love, and understanding, I am most thankful of all that He forgave me and taught me how to forgive others

God bless you Al M
